They’re so much bigger in person than what you expect from pictures.
It’s like Toyota learned how to shoot cars from internet personals pages.

I wish the new Prius looked like this, instead of being a monstrosity of nonsensical design elements. I actually think the Mirai looks kinda, well, good.

I saw one the other day, too. They’re not bad in person.

I've put around 250 miles on one. Any questions about it?

What’s the charging infrastructure like? Charge time? Cost? It’s a Toyota so I expect it doesn’t have the greatest driving feel or handling. Confirm or deny? Any particular quirks, good or bad, you’ve experienced?

In SoCal, the charging infrastructure is pretty decent, with 14 or 15 stations in the Los Angeles area. “Charge” time is around 10 to 15 minutes, a bit longer than a gas car but not too bad. Handling is like a heavier Prius, but it has great torque which can be fun. Quirk wise, it’s odd how damn nice the interior is. It really should have been badged as a Lexus, even has rear seat heaters! Adaptive cruise control automatically cuts out below 30 MPH as if it wants you to rear end the car ahead of you. All the driver’s aids are programmed to be super sensitive, which gets old quick, but they can mostly be shut off
